Jessica and Paul’s country wedding with a Traditional Pole Tent and woodland evening party with a Long-barn Yurt
In September 2012 we set up our Traditional Canvas Pole Tent at Finchcocks for the reception of Jessica and Paul's wedding.
Set in the beautiful Kent countryside Jessica and Paul hired our traditional marquee with our exotic blue indian motif lining. The wedding day had a woodland theme running throughout and our marquee lent itself wonderfully to this theme.
We supplied a top hat tent for the catering tent at the back of the main dining marquee for the caterers to prepare the food and for their staff to serve from.
The couple chose the traditional canvas pole tent for just over 100 guests to dine at their wedding breakfast. We supplied 5′ and 6′ round tables and beach chairs with seat cushions. They wanted an entrance area for guests to leave any wedding gifts and to sign their guest book so we connected a top hat tent which gave guests plenty of space to stand and chat whilst they waited to enter the reception.
The king poles of the traditional tent were elegantly decorated with a floral arrangement which complimented the theme and the tent beautifully.
Their evening party was held at the couples woodland where they had set up structures in the woods as a bar and dance tent and we supplied our Long-barn Yurt for a chill out area for the guests.
With low level seating and warm lighting the yurt sat perfectly amongst pine trees and gave out a wonderful glow. Deep in the woods we had also supplied a bridal yurt with a luxury interior including a double bed, low level tables, ornate screen, heating and a wash basin.
Thank you to Jessica and Paul for sharing their wedding and the wonderful wedding marquee set up, and to Lyndsey Goddard for the beautiful photos.
